I’ll just leave a link to the lyrics to the joint here then, no need to force the lulz on this one.

Not for nuttin, but I’m kinda ashamed to be co-signing this funky hoe, and this is coming from a guy who without any irony will defend the merits of Friday Hill’s debut single to the def (on a real doe that hook is banging, you can’t deny the hook bro)…. » Read the rest of this entry «

Don’t really know what percentage of UMD’s readership are fully qualified members of the National Council for the Training of Journalists (we got Yougov running the numbers on this as we speak so I know what the optimal level of “Oxdown Gazette” gags is for each post), but for those of you that aren’t, lemme confirm something you always suspected: when you graduate as a professional journalist, you’re given a rote list of things to include in every tedious tossed-off article about the relationship between music and football written ever. » Read the rest of this entry «

I come from the last generation of student newspaper music section editors that lived with the concept of physical recorded media. Resultantly, over a three-year period I came into the possession of around 700 odd promotional CDs from bands literally nobody has ever cared about at any point ever. Maybe you have fond memories of Marlowe, Fenix TX or Ladies First that can’t be sated by googling their name and finding former band members posting under Youtube clips of their promo videos saying “Yeah, we got held up in the major label machine for a while and after that all our momentum had gone. Victoria Coren! Who can get enough of this, admittedly, quite blappable media figure? Nobody, that’s who. Pubs the length and breadth of this fine country are abuzz with talk of the poker player, journalist, porn director and game show host. But which Victoria Coren trait is the most sexually enviable? Well, you people are clearly incapable of making your own minds up, so UMD is here to talk you through the 10 solitary aspects of Victoria Coren’s personality so you can make your own mind up at the end. We’re nice like that [via Guru]. » Read the rest of this entry «

What’s popping brah, it’s 2SHIN from that blog about mashing unconventionally attractive slebs that used to be semi-popular on unofficial Liverpool FC fan forums here. For the Ich Lüge Bullets fans out there who aren’t familiar with my steez, my modus operandi is basically “lol I’m talking like a blk man and about blk ppl things but it’s cool cuz I’m not white lol”. » Read the rest of this entry «

Remember blogging? It was a pretty big thing for a while, coincidentally during exactly the same time period that Francis Jeffers was famous enough to be able to skip the queues at nightclubs. Nowadays, though, it’s not doing too well. Like Margaret Thatcher, it sits around in its freshly pissed nightclothes, unaware of what time or day it is, while the wider world either eagerly awaits its demise or pretends for a few seconds that its achievements weren’t solely of a destructive nature. » Read the rest of this entry «
